HOLY WEEK

  • Palm Sunday – The King Arrives

    Scripture: Matthew 21:1–11, Mark 11:1–11, Luke 19:28–40, John 12:12–19

    Jesus enters Jerusalem to the praise of the crowds waving palm branches, revealing Him as the promised King.

  • Holy Monday – Cleansing the Temple

    Scripture: Matthew 21:12–17, Mark 11:15–19, Luke 19:45–48

    Jesus clears the temple courts and calls God’s house back to prayer and true worship.

  • Holy Tuesday – Teaching & Authority

    Scripture: Matthew 21:23–24:51, Mark 11:20–13:37, Luke 20:1–21:38

    Jesus teaches in the temple, shares parables, and prepares His followers while confronting religious leaders.

  • Holy Wednesday – Silent Wednesday (Betrayal)

    Scripture: Matthew 26:14–16, Mark 14:10–11, Luke 22:1–6

    A quieter day associated with Judas agreeing to betray Jesus.

  • Maundy Thursday – The Last Supper

    Scripture: Matthew 26:17–75, Mark 14:12–72, Luke 22:7–65, John 13–18

    Jesus shares the Last Supper, washes the disciples’ feet, prays in the garden, and is arrested.

  • Good Friday – The Crucifixion

    Scripture: Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23, John 18:28–19:42

    Jesus is tried, crucified, and buried, giving His life for the sins of the world.

  • Holy Saturday – The Tomb

    Scripture: Matthew 27:62–66, Luke 23:56

    Jesus rests in the tomb as His followers wait in grief and uncertainty.

  • Resurrection Sunday

    Scripture: Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, John 20

    Jesus rises from the grave, defeating sin and death and bringing new life and hope.
